Taylor Swift is adding a touch of enchantment to her Eras tour!
After commencing the Latin American segment of her Eras Tour last Thursday, the pop sensation shared a delightful Instagram post from her inaugural performance in Buenos Aires.
On Monday, Swift uploaded a video showcasing her on stage during the Thursday show, playing the piano while delivering a stripped-down rendition of “Labyrinth” from her 2022 album, Midnights.
In the footage, a plane cruises over Argentina’s Estadio River Plate. Just as it passes, the 33-year-old croons, “I thought the plane was going down / How’d you turn it right around?”
“Never beating the sorcery allegations ✨🛬✨,” Swift captioned the post.
This acoustic performance of “Labyrinth” marked the song’s live debut and served as one of the two “surprise songs” for the Thursday event. Swift also treated the audience to “The Very First Night,” one of the tracks from the “From the Vault” collection of Red (Taylor’s Version).
The video encompassed the chorus of “Labyrinth,” starting with “Uh oh, I’m falling in love / Oh no, I’m falling in love again / Oh, I’m falling in love.”
“Labyrinth” found its way onto the setlist amidst Swift’s newfound romance with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Following Swift’s Thursday night performance, the surprises continued. On Saturday, Kelce joined the crowd to witness Swift’s second performance in Buenos Aires. During the show, the lyrics to the popular Midnights song “Karma” underwent a playful alteration.
Swift modified the lyrics, singing, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me,” eliciting a broad grin from Kelce, 34. The “Lavender Haze” singer’s father also expressed excitement, tapping Kelce on the shoulder and applauding in support.
A subsequent clip, captured by a fan, showed Swift seemingly gazing affectionately at Kelce from the stage as he blew her a kiss and waved at her conclusion of the song.
After the show, the couple was seen celebrating together. Fans captured moments of the “Lavender Haze” singer hurrying off the stage to share a kiss with the NFL star.
Next on Swift’s agenda is Brazil, where she will perform three concerts in Rio de Janeiro and three in São Paulo between Nov. 17 and Nov. 26. The Latin American leg concludes the Eras Tour for 2023, which commenced in North America in March.
The singer is set to hit the road again next year, with scheduled Eras Tour performances in Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and the U.K.
